“Our affair was not a secret”: Camille de Casabianca spills the beans on her romance with Patrick Poivre d’Arvor

In an article in Le Parisien published on Tuesday July 26, director Camille de Casabianca confided in her relationship with journalist Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, which occurred in the early 1980s.

Directed by Camille de Casabianca, the script for this comedy was directly inspired by a trip between her and Patrick Poivre d’Arvor. In her film, the director reveals having slipped into the suitcases “of a famous French television journalist“.

Later, Camille de Casabianca described this episode of romance as a tender and cowardly love affair. “Oh, our affair was no secret. We had been paparazzed by the tabloids“, says the director, absolutely without any regret on this passage of his life.
