Game News “It’s the worst game in history”: This YouTuber famously burns Call of Duty Warzone 2 live and swears not to play anymore
While Warzone got a 2.0 update last year, Call of Duty’s battle royale continues to be as popular as ever. Despite its success, some gamers, streamers, and even YouTubers are complaining that the current meta doesn’t suit them at all.

Warzone 2.0, a successful update for the CoD battle royale?
Released on November 14, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is the name of the long-awaited update to Call of Duty: Warzone, the battle royale of the essential Call of Duty license. As proof of its success, know that Warzone new version had 25 million players just five days after launchwhile it took more than a week, or even twice as long, for its predecessor to surpass 30 million.
To improve the experience compared to the original game, Activision has made many small changes that have had their effect, such as bringing back supply drops or even integrating adjustments to DMZ, the new sandbox mode. While season 2 is expected to start in early February, some rumors seem to indicate that the Resurgence mode will make a comeback. As a reminder, unlike battle royale, this kind of game allows players to come back to life a few seconds after being killed, on the sole condition of having at least one teammate still standing. But despite all these additions and new features, the negative feedback from the Call of Duty community continues to pour in.
Anger is brewing among Call of Duty players
A few weeks after the game was released, the players have already started to make their displeasure known, especially through Steam user reviews and on Metacritic. Among the main criticisms, we find criticisms at the level of the optimization of the game on PC, but also with regard to the general feeling of the gameplay which seems slower than its predecessor. Others also point to the new loot system, which is far from unanimous. In the face of this negative feedback, some former pro players are calling for the series to take a break to start afresh able to get everyone to agree. But this time, it’s another content creator who spoke, and he’s much less tender with the battle royale.
In a clip that has already accumulated more than twenty thousand views, we find Tfue, Youtuber specializing in battle royale, and in particular Fortnite, and who has more than eleven million subscribers on YouTube. In the middle of a Warzone 2.0 session, the latter is killed for the first time by an air strike, before being shot again by an opponent and seeing his game over because he has not been revived by one of his teammates. Distraught and visibly desperate about his session, he says:
Guys, what am I playing here… This is literally the worst game I’ve played in my life and honestly, you don’t know it until you play it alone, it’s really the worst game ever made, it breaks my skull. If he removes the trio and squad game modes from this game, the game would literally be dead, because it’s so bad when you’re not constantly being revived by your teammates. There are so many things wrong with this game. People don’t even use guns in this game anymore, they just use airstrikes. -Tfue
In line with the negative feedback we quoted to you above, the YouTuber complains above all about the too many air strikes that spoil the games, but also about the lack of interest in playing alone if you can’t count on his own teammates. For all this reason, he does not hesitate to call the game a “joke”, while repeating that he finds it “horrible”. What push him to no longer start the game, at least for a while. It remains to be seen whether Activision will take all these different reactions into account to make the Warzone 2 gaming experience more enjoyable for part of the community.
